It has been a busy summer in Palm Springs, and we have been selling lots of houses at the Paul Kaplan Group! We are looking forward to a very exciting season in our new offices at 1117 N Palm Canyon Drive. Continuing with my photos of the Palm Springs Class 1 Historic Sites, we are now up to #8 - the Palm Canyon Stone Street Marker on the corner of N Palm Canyon Dr and Chino Dr. If you have parked near Koffi, you have probably noticed this historic street marker. According to the City of Palm Springs website, "Class 2 designation is used to recognize a site where a historic building or feature once stood but is no longer present, or to recognize that a historic event occurred at that particular site." Thanks to the internet and eBay, I was able to find an old postcard with an image of the hotel. Currently occupying the site is the Chop House, a steak and seafood restaurant. We do love to eat and shop on eBay at

I want you to know what Pho is!  At The Paul Kaplan Group, we start talking about where we are going to have lunch in Palm Springs, almost as soon as we turn on the lights every morning.

One of our favorite Palm Springs lunch spots,  is Pho 533 in Smoke Tree Village. (Equally delish for dinner too)  This week, in our #pkgLocal sweepstakes, you can win a gift certificate for $25 to Pho 533, generously donated by Chad Gardner, the new owner of our favorite spot for delicious Vietnamese food.
