It’s no secret that temperatures rise in the desert during the summer, but as year-round Palm Springs residents, the Paul Kaplan Group team has some tips on how to beat the heat!

Hit the Pool

Spending your days (and nights) in the pool is a summertime ritual in the desert, preferably with a cold beverage in hand. Ideally you will have your own backyard or community pool (and if not, the Paul Kaplan Group can obviously help you find the perfect spot!), but sometimes it’s also fun to venture out and explore new places and meet new people. The Paul Kaplan Group is grateful for the architects and developers who contributed to the "Desert Modernism" movement in Palm Springs. Jack Meiselman, along with his brother Bernie, were such developers, responsible for building a number of affordable mid-century modern homes in the Palm Springs area during the 1950s and 1960s.

The first 10 “Micro Homes” are available for sale in Palm Springs, CA at the Palm Canyon Mobile Club.

About 100 new homes will are scheduled to fill a vintage mobile home park in this popular resort community in Palm Springs, creating the first neighborhood of its kind in southern California. These pre-fab style home are manufactured in a factory with the interiors complete, and delivered to the home site. Once situation, outdoor decks and porches are added, walkways, driveways, carports, fenced yards, and landscaping.
