Canadians have historically been huge fans of Palm Springs-  the perfect escape from cold winters, flying on direct flights from Canada directly to Palm Springs International Airport!  During our winter season, Palm Springs feels like "Little-Canada" based on the Canadian license plates seen all over the Coachella Valley!  Many have winter residences in Palm Springs, and we kindly refer to these visitors and 2nd home owners, as "Snowbirds"

However, the recent devaluation of the Canadian Dollar and the increased valuation of the US $, has made some Canadians hesitant to purchase in Palm Springs in recent months.

Below- is a well stated article incuding supporting statistics, that maybe now really IS the time to buy for Canadians after all-

The iconic Racquet Club Garden Villas is one of Palm Springs’ most historic housing complex. Its pedigree stems from a trinity of Palm Springs mid-century modern designers: architect William F. Shipley.  Originally part of the famous Racquet Club Resort, the Racquet Club Garden Villas were intended to give guests privacy but easy access to resort activities. The grounds are gated and the complex is just minutes from downtown Palm Springs its excellent restaurants and trendy shops.  Palm Springs Home Celebrity Built in the 1950s The Racquet Club Villas of Palm Springs, even six decades later, still maintain much of the authenticity of their original design. 60 Luna Circle in Palm Springs

Located in the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood of Palm Springs, you'll discover this iconic Mid-Century home featuring the famed "butterfly" roof.  (If you look close, the roof is sorta shaped like butterfly wings, with the low point, being where the entry way is).  This roof line allows for clerestory windows, which floods the interior with light.

Inside, its an open concept floor plan, innovative for 1960s design.  The kitchen features an island that overlooks the living/dining areas-  the vaulted tongue and groove ceilings,
