Why we love this house:  Velvet.  Red Velvet.  Rarely do you walk into a house and your jaw immediately drops.  Vintage time capsules like this in Palm Springs are what we live  for and this is truly one of a kind. A designer's feat. A true work of art.  Every detail has been meticulously designed and coordinated in a sea of orange and red velvet luxury.  Every turn of every corner is another step back into a vintage opulent era that has been preserved like the day it was originally put together. No Elvira doesn't live here, but you could, and your friends will have never seen anything like this but only will be in awe.

Stephan's Folly, is our Featured Home constructed in 1965 and designed by Robert Lewis, later purchased by "Plumber to the Stars," Jack Stephan, who designed and installed the current interior in 1971. The luxury home's remarkable condition was recognized in October as recipient of The Palm Springs Modern Committee's Residential Preservation Award. This mid-century  Deepwell home is rich in local Palm Springs history and is truly an immersive piece of artwork. Centered around a quintessential Palm Springs kidney-shaped pool, the home features a sunken living room, a curved (sunken) wetbar, a den (or possible 4th bedroom), three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool cabana, a butler's pantry, and an oversized garage for your classic cars. Additionally, you'll find walk-in closets, vanity areas in two bedrooms, an original intercom system, a drop-down screening theater, and many other custom features that are sure to enchant any fan of vintage Palm Springs.
